Welcome to the House of Hope S.W. Michigan. An affiliate of the National House of Hope in Orlando, Florida, we are opening our hearts and doors to troubled teens. The House of Hope maintains a very high success rate for helping hurting teenagers and reuniting dysfunctional families.

The House of Hope is founded upon the love of Christ. That love is extended to troubled teens to help them find hope and strength for the battles of life. They learn to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God in practical ways, ways that make a huge difference in everyday life.

Education, Christian counseling, and spiritual guidance are administered in a loving home-style environment. Efforts are made to bring about healing for teens and their families.

Who Is This For?

Teen girls between the ages of 13-18 with behavioral problems
Teens with some of the following issues: rebellion, drug and alcohol issues, school problems, issues with authority, in bad friendships, depression, suicidal thoughts, runaways, family conflict, lying, violation of family rules, no emotional bonding, serious lack of communication, impulsive behavior, eating disorders, low self esteem, lack of respect for the right of others, trouble maintaining peer relationships, sexual promiscuity, delinquent behavior, self mutilation
Teen boys ages 13-18 with future building of another resident home on the property
Teens desperate enough to know they need help
Those who live within an approximate 3 hour radius

We want to take this opportunity to share with you that we recently received a generous donation of $5,000 for seed money from an anonymous donor! We want to take this chance to thank them! You know who you are, and we pray God will richly bless you! We can see God moving in big ways, and this awesome surprise is just the begining of what we are expecting Him to do! We covet your prayers, and thank you for all you do!

FIRST FUND RAISING BOWL-A-THON

Fund raising Bowl-a-thon, organized and managed by fundraising volunteer Stephanie Harrington

Keep an eye out for more details, but put this date aside and plan on bowling and inviting all you know! All proceeds will go toward earning money for the property on Westlake Rd. for the House of Hope S.W. Michigan! There will be prizes as well given through out the bowling time! We will be seeking business and corporate sponsors as well.

Two shifts of bowling: 12:30 and 2:15, planning on being done by 4 pm

Price: $10 a ticket, price includes shoes and 3 games of bowling

When: September 20th, 12:30pm-4:00pm

Where: Eastland Bowl, 5570 Gull Rd., Kalamazoo, Mi
